THE SUBMARINE

The S-81 Isaac Peral is an S-80 class submarine belonging to the Spanish Navy, built by Navantia in the city of Cartagena (Spain). The Princess of Asturias is the godmother of the submarine, whose ceremony was held on 22 April 2021 and was launched on 7 May 2021. The port and sea trials are currently being carried out and it is expected to enter service with the Spanish Navy soon.

THE DESIGN

The Spanish Navy has entrusted Colomer & Sons to design and create the commemorative watch for the inauguration of the submarine S81-Isaac Peral, a milestone in the history of our country. We soon got down to work to design a watch in line with his spirit and the result has been exceptional: a watch as robust as the submarine, with a blue bezel like the ocean where it dives and the flag of Spain next to the Crown. On its precious mother of pearl dial it bears the shield of the submarine base and the silhouette of the S-81 Isaac Peral.

THE BOX

The 40mm stainless steel case of this watch provides a perfect combination of strength and style. Its robust design protects the Miyota 8215 automatic movement, which is absolutely precise. The back cover of the watch shows the submarine base shield laser-etched into the steel.

NIGHT VISION

This stunning watch features night vision, allowing you to read the time in the dark. Thanks to its luminous technology, the numerals and hands are illuminated intensely, ensuring clear and crisp legibility.
