Avoid extreme temperatures (above 60 \u00baC, or 140 \u00baF, or below 0 \u00baC, or 32 \u00baF) Also avoid sudden temperature changes. In mechanical watchmaking they greatly affect the rate of movement of the watch.<\/p>\n

1. Avoid contact with water and moisture to prevent discoloration and deformation.
2. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight to prevent color fading.
3. Don’t forget that leather is permeable! Avoid contact with greasy substances and cosmetic products. It is not advisable to apply leather cleaners to this kind of straps.<\/p>\n

The waterproofing cannot be guaranteed indefinitely. It can be affected by aging seals or accidental impact on the crown. We recommend checking the watch’s water resistance once a year at an official COLOMER AND SONS center. In general, our watches are suitable for surface swimming but not intended for depths exceeding 2 meters.<\/p>\n

The watch must be worn 10 to 12 hours a day for several days. If the watch is not worn enough, the power reserve will continue to be depleted and manual-winding will be required. The crown should be manually turned between 15 and 20 times to achieve an adequate power reserve and ensure the accuracy of the timekeeping. A very common mistake is believing that simply shaking an automatic watch a little is enough to keep it running and maintaining the exact time.<\/p>\n
